New GRE Format Cancelled

Tuesday, April 3, 2007

If you haven't noticed, ETS announced today, April 3, that the much awaited GRE format has been dumped. You can read the article at CNN.

This means quite a bit for test takes, but mainly, you won't have to sit through a 4-hour long test. Instead, it'll stay at the current 2 1/2 hours, and you'll still be tested on analogies and antonyms. Great stuff, I know. As a plus, there won't be a verbal section that's all critical reading.
